Mark Levin obliterates Trey Gowdy’s credulous defense of #Spygate

By Nate Madden

LevinTV host Mark Levin called out Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., on the radio Wednesday over the lawmaker’s claims that the FBI did the right thing by planting a spy in the Trump campaign.

As he played clips of Gowdy’s multiple television appearances on the subject, Levin (the former chief of staff to Attorney General Ed Meese) dissected the congressman’s Spygate apologetics point by point.

“The Left has what it wants” thanks to Gowdy, Levin concluded, “Another putative Republican, retiring so he’s free to ‘speak his mind,’ such as it is.”

I have been suspicious of Gowdy for a while now, because while he talks a good game he never does anything.

The hardest part of being a Conservative today is that there are so few politicians that back us up and that we can trust. Gowdy is auditioning for Beltway slime work post political life.

Once Gowdy saw that he wasn't getting an "insider" spot anywhere in the Trump admin he announced his retirement from politics. Coincidence? I hardly think so. Luckily for us, his country cousin Lindsay Graham wasn't considered for anything what so ever.
