STEPHEN COLBERT: Leading #FakeNews Purveyor Goes Completely Nuts, May Have Rabies

Those are all terms which, I'm told, he prefers.

After Colbert's latest outburst, it's clear what CBS News needs to do. Whether they will do it, however, is another matter whatsoeer.
Once the clock struck midnight on Donald Trump’s 100 days in office, Stephen Colbert’s claws came out. He delivered his most vicious attack on the President to date during the monologue of Monday night’s [show,] including a derogatory slur many consider to be homophobic.

...he unleashed a string of insults, including “Mr. President, I love your presidency, I call it ‘Disgrace The Nation,’” and “You’re the ‘presi-dunce’ but you’re turning into a real ‘prick-tator.”...

But then he went about as brutal as we’ve ever really seen Colbert get, continuing, “Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine. You have more people marching against you than cancer. You talk like a sign-language gorilla that got hit in the head.”

And then Colbert finished it off with the most scathing line of them all: “In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s cock holster,” which elicited gasps from the studio audience.
Try to imagine if a similar remark had been made about a President Barack Obama or a President Hillary Clinton.

A conservative pundit would have made page one, above-the-fold headlines in every fake news periodical from The New York Times to The Washington Post. The questions raised here are good ones:

If CBS had a real news network, they'd have fired Colbert within a couple of hours of his drooling, homophobic outburst.

But CBS isn't real news, so don't expect any repercussions for the thoroughly unfunny and quite addled leftist Stefan Colbird.

Hat tip: BadBlue Real-Time News.

Colbert is clearly considered to be a leading member of Our Moral Betters. Now he signals that it is an acceptable virtue signal to attack Trump personally with a vile reference to homosexual behavior.

But recall that in other contexts, Our Moral Betters scold us (and thus establish their idea of moral high ground) that homosexaulity and thus homosexual behavior is just a personal choice, since nobody is allowed to state what is what is moral or immoral in the bedroom.

So, which is it? Either homosexual behavior is vile and no decent person would engage in it, or it was a remark designed to shock his middle class audience and nothing more.

In this episode we see that liberals (er, now "progressives") really do not have any morals except they things they show others that they approve of or find repulsive. The very idea of morality has been "socialized". This is inside out and upside down from how God instructs people to be moral: in that He makes morality plain and easy to deduce though Scripture, expects rational adult to follow it, and makes plain through example the judgement He will surely bring upon any society that turns its back on what He clearly says.
