Mark Levin made much of Trump’s new pick for attorney general, Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala. (C, 78%), on his radio show Friday night. The Alabama lawmaker has already come under intense scrutiny from the Left, having been labeled a racist. But Levin quickly dispelled this heinous notion.
“He is a thoroughly decent human being. He does not have a racist bone in his body. He is a soft-spoken man. He is an extremely intelligent man … and he would make an outstanding attorney general of the United States,” Levin said.
He then went on to say “we cannot tolerate” the witch hunts employed by the Left.
Listen to the full clip:
“I’m greatly encouraged by Donald Trump’s team,” said Levin. Trump made the bold decision to appoint Sessions, along with Rep. Mike Pompeo, R-Kan. (C, 77%) to head the CIA and retired Gen. Michael Flynn to National Security Adviser, knowing full well that the Democrats would rise in intense opposition.
The appointments show that Team Trump plans to do things their way and, as of yet, aren’t acquiescing under the scare tactics of the Left.
