Entry-level computing, circa 1972

 
Here's the brochure for the IBM 370-115 entry-level mainframe, introduced in 1972.








Note the Printed in Western Germany reference. And the fact that an oscilloscope came with each system.

Remember: you're not really debugging unless you use an oscilloscope, you young whippersnappers!
