So I ordered a Christmas 2013 bell from Matt Bevin on Dec. 23. It arrived today. When I saw it online it appeared that it might be cheap Chinese porcelain. I should have known better. It's a metal bell, clearly manufactured by Bevin Brothers Bell Company and enameled white. It actually rings, with a beautiful tone. Some day, when we're looking to President Bevin for leadership, this bell is going to be a collector's item. This Iowan is currently sending all the political money she can spare to a guy in Kentucky and wishing she could move there and go to work for him next year. Happy New Year, Matt. And thank you, Doug Ross, for introducing him to us.

You will see that it says "USA" on one side and "BEVIN" on the other...
