A simple chart explains why things are going to have to get a whole lot worse before they get better

America's plethora of low-information voters say that the country is headed down the toilet. Yet, because many (or most) seem to get their news from The View, The Daily Show, Honey Boo-Boo, or NBC, they have largely disconnected the president's abysmal performance from the country's direction.

My contention, therefore, is that things will have to get much, much worse before the president's excuses, straw-men, and enemies lists finally begin to stink like the overripe corpses they are.

Don't you realize that it's all the fault of those intransigent Republicans and if only they'd compromise then the country would move forward?

I don't. They voted for slavery.

Oh ok, well if it's going to be like that, then I'd like to give a big thanks to your generation for giving up our schools, giving us welfare, letting the extreme left own the news and running big government RINOs over and over again in elections.

Or we can stop pointing fingers at one another. Whatever.

Touche! I'm in the middle, tail end of the baby boomers, but not near retirement for 20 years. I still blame the demented decade of the 60's and have no respect for anyone who was of college age during that time. They sucked the life out of this country and the WWII generation let them get away with it. We just haven't gotten around to closing the lid on the coffin yet.

"Youth" by it's very nature is inexperienced and inherently ignorant.

The babyboomers were the first generation in the history of this nation who refused to mature beyond the intellectual dishonesty of their 'Sturm and Drang' adolescent rebellion. There is no spoiled brat like an old spoiled brat.

The generations that have followed have had very few role models of responsible maturity to guide them. Immaturity begets immaturity, and we have reached the point where immaturity has been institutionalized and fostered as a political ideology by the Democrat Party.

Things have been getting worse at an ever increasing pace. And there is no reason to expect that to change. The observable pattern clearly indicates that an eventual collapse is inevitable. It's not a matter of "if", but rather "when". And the "when" is rapidly approaching.
