Investigate Adam Schiff and John McCain

By Jen Kuznicki

In the Daily Mail today, “Now anonymous government officials accuse Trump aides of giving Russians the ‘thumbs up’ for election hacks: New claim in growing feud over Obama administration ‘snooping’ on Donald“

In it, Jennifer Rubin’s favorite Democrat, Adam Schiff claims the evidence he has that Trump’s aides colluded with the Russians in an attempt to hack the elections is, “more than circumstantial.”

Democrats are reacting to Republican Chair of the Intelligence Committee, David Nunes, who said yesterday that there is evidence that information on members of Trump’s transition team was collected legally and incidentally during the transition. Nunes briefed the president on it, and all hell broke loose over there on the conspiracy wing of Democrat Party, with Elijah Cummings claiming there must be an investigation of Nunes because he told the president.

Hey, let’s investigate everybody! You get an investigation, and you get an investigation, and you get an investigation!

But what’s happening here is Nunes actually has his hands on something significant, and what he said yesterday matches up with the leaked press reports that Mark Levin has been hammered for noting. Nunes said the evidence was incidentally collected, which would match with the press reports that said a joint task force was created because the CIA couldn’t act on American citizens. This from the BBC – January 12, 2017

On 15 October, the US secret intelligence court issued a warrant to investigate two Russian banks. This news was given to me by several sources and corroborated by someone I will identify only as a senior member of the US intelligence community. He would never volunteer anything – giving up classified information would be illegal – but he would confirm or deny what I had heard from other sources….Last April, the CIA director was shown intelligence that worried him. It was – allegedly – a tape recording of a conversation about money from the Kremlin going into the US presidential campaign.

It was passed to the US by an intelligence agency of one of the Baltic States. The CIA cannot act domestically against American citizens so a joint counter-intelligence taskforce was created.

The report says a counter-intelligence task force was set up and a FISA court issued a warrant to investigate banks. The FISA request would be the “legal” point Nunes is making, since getting a FISA warrant makes the gathering of information legal. But they didn’t gather information that says Russia and Trump colluded, and Comey and Clapper both have denied there is any evidence of any hacking altering the outcome of the election.

So, we should investigate Schiff not Nunes. If Schiff has information that nobody else has seen and he won’t go into specifics while denouncing his own co-chair, he ought to show his hand, and he will have to be investigated. These conspiratorial accusations are all the Democrats have so far on anything, while Nunes kind of just confirmed that the leaks in the media were all true….and felonies…each one..while the Democrat was the president.

But there’s more.

Today John Meathead McCain on the Today Show:

This is interesting, since one of the reports that was part of the massive media leaks in the final days of the Obama administration has the title, “John McCain passes dossier alleging secret Trump-Russia contacts to FBI.” From the Guardian, January 11, 2017, which you will note was during the transition:

Senator John McCain passed documents to the FBI director, James Comey, last month alleging secret contacts between the Trump campaign and Moscow and that Russian intelligence had personally compromising material on the president-elect himself.

That was in December, Johnny.

McCain thinks Nunes’ report is disturbing because he’s colluding with the Democrats. No surprise there, really.
