Fascism, Defined

Wiktionary defines the word fascism as follows:

A political regime, usually totalitarian...

...ideologically based on centralized government...

...government control of business...

...repression of criticism or opposition...

...a leader cult...

...and exalting the state and/or religion above individual rights.

Too harsh? Too "right wing"? I just relayed the definition. Any conceptual linkages between the words and images are the responsibilities of the reader.

I'm wondering if fascism could work with corperations controlling the government?

Have we all lost our way?
In a matter of liberty for the right

It's not just the Democrats but the Republicans as well. The whole interplay between the two parties and society's ambivalence regarding the whole issue that has put the United States past the point of no return on the road to fascism. I am just glad that my grandparents were born in Ireland which has allowed me to get an EU passport and emigrate to Europe. America was nice while it lasted, but now I dread the trip whenever I return. It's amazing that most Americans don't see the writing on the wall and do something about it
