Florida Republican Rep. Allen West is demanding that President Barack Obama force Attorney General Eric Holder to resign.
Appearing on Nashville radio host Steve Gill’s show last week, West said Obama would be “complicit” with what he sees as Justice Department attempts to slow down and avoid a congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious and Project Gunrunner if he didn’t push his attorney general to resign. “The president needs to realize that Eric Holder needs to be removed from the Department of Justice,” West said after detailing why he thinks Holder should appear before an investigative committee to testify about how the DOJ has handled its response to the Operation Fast and Furious investigation. “Or else I believe President Obama is complicit and he is in approval of the actions of his attorney general.”
Gill followed up by asking West if he thought a special prosecutor was needed to investigate Operation Fast and Furious. West said he thought so, adding that the mishandling of the operation is a part of a “trend” he sees forming at the DOJ. West said the way Holder has handled Operation Fast and Furious is reminiscent of how he handled the New Black Panther Party voter intimidation scandal.
“This is just another sad chapter in the Eric Holder book of ineptness and incompetence,” West said.
That's putting it kindly.

Why are people such as Eric holder, Hillary Clinton, barrack Obama and Janet Napalitino getting away with these blatant crimes?
These are acts of treason and tyranny they are committing.
If I was to personally carry a pistol concealed, a legal, registered weapon without a permit to do so, I would not see the light of day, rot away in a jail cell for years. But these people get away with violation of any number of laws, murder, conspiracy, and treason?
My 2nd Amendment Liberty states simply and clearly right to bear arms shall not be infringed.
Yet in reality these people are infringing, read violating the rule of law and everyone's Liberty via these acts of lawlessness.
These are people who have taken an oath and sworn upon their hearts to protect and defend the rest of us. Not become the greater of many evils they are sworn, and paid a princely sum I may add by you and I, to defend against.
If there was ever an example of how wayward, lost and corrupted my government has become this is an example second to none.
Impeach the treasonous bastards!
I'm not sure Allen West goes far enough. Obama almost certainly IS complicit, authorized the project and is attempting to cover it up. If he forces Holder to take the rap, all he's done is thrown one more person under the bus.
There needs to be a HUGE investigation, and a special prosecutor. I don't see any way Obama's not behind the whole thing: he'd have to be, given the number of agencies and departments that were involved with this thing, including State Dept. and Homeland Security and Treasury.
So the problem becomes: How do we get OBAMA to resign? He's not going to be graceful about it and resign, as Nixon did. (And Watergate didn't KILL people!!)
As for "Vice President West," sure, that sounds good -- but not nearly as good as "President West."
