Ben relays a message from one of the founders of
Kids4Kenya, who just happens to be a kid herself. She's one of several Towson, Maryland teens who have banded together to raise money to build three schools in Kenya. And, rather than funding a madrassa or some other haven for extremism, the aim is to empower "desperately poor people with the schools and materials to educate themselves in a locally controlled, secular and non-judgmental fashion."

Kids4Kenya website. It's a worthy cause and one perfect for Christmas.
