Just throwing out a few questions on the Fast and Furious investigation beside the Obvious: WDTPKAWDHKI
How can determining the person who authorized this debacle jeopardize ongoing cases?
Given that the majority of the weapons that fall into cartel hand come from countries south of Mexico or from armories in Mexico, why didn’t the BATF try to track at least some of these weapons from these sources?
The testimony indicated that in most cases, tracking devices were not used to track F&F guns and agents weren’t allowed to follow the guns – only the original straw purchaser, how did the ‘Higher ups’ really expect to track these weapons?
Moreover, if they did not have a valid way of tracking them, what was supposed to be their explanation for this whole debacle?
Is there any other conclusion that the purpose of the F&F debacle was just to go after guns in the US?
Does the administration have any other good explanations on this, beside the obvious conclusions?
