QOTD: In another case of alleged sacrilege, Fox News reports that Michael Mann, the Penn State climate scientist who is a central figure in the University of East Anglia email scandal, is threatening to sue makers of a satirical video called "Hide the Decline" (you can watch at the Fox link). Mann's lawyer letter claims that the video misappropriates his likeness and leaves viewers "with the incorrect impression that he falsified data."
Bring it on, say the videographers:
"The guy is crazy to threaten legal action," said Jeff Davis, the President of No Cap and Trade, a large organization that includes the group Mann is threatening to sue, Minnesotans for Global Warming. "A lawsuit would give us full discovery--and there's a lot to look at in his work."
Hey, we've got an idea! Who's up for "Everyone Mock a Climate Scientist Day"?
